Postpone the delivery system "S-300" Russian-Syrian to next year

A senior Russian official said that his country had delayed the delivery of a batch of feed system - 300 missile to Syria, although the latter to pay an advance payment.

The Vedomosti business daily said, quoting Avanjard Co., which manufactures missiles for the S-300 system, the delivery process, which was originally scheduled to take place in the spring of this year, has been postponed to 2014.

The report Avanjard covered, which was not available on the website the time of publication of the article, the second shipment of  S-300 missile system to Syria, which is likely to be manufactured by the Russian state arms industry (Rosoboronexport).

Vedomosti quoted, citing defense ministry sources as saying that it had been the production of the first batch of S-300 system, but not delivered, while the work was postponed for the second installment, although Russia has received "hundreds of millions of dollars" as a down payment from Damascus.
